The Certified in Exhibition Management® (CEM) designation is a globally recognized designation that demonstrates the highest professional standard throughout the exhibitions and events management arena. It was first created in 1975 to raise professional standards in the event industry and it continues to be the premier mark of professional achievement. The CEM designation accommodates short and long-term career goals with education that can be tailored to meet specific needs and interests. The designation is obtained by completion of nine courses offered through on-location classrooms and on-line formats. The CEM Learning Program is offered in a variety of countries/territories, including the United States, Canada, Brazil, China, India, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan R.O.C., and Thailand.
The CCP+ is a comprehensive certification course with all the fundamental aspects to equip the business events practitioners with the knowledge on how best practices can be applied, as well as the methodology when managing congress and application of event technology in their event planning. CCP+ is perfect for those who wants to embark on the business events industry, such as meetings, conventions and exhibitions. It is also highly suitable for academicians in the events management faculties to better understand the practical applications in business events.
Both Ivy and Wendy had undergone a total of 72 hours over the course of 9 days. Each day covered a different course with a corresponding examination at the end of each day and participants are required to score a minimum of 75 points to pass. The interaction through group discussions and class exercises via webinar and physical are both structured for participants to actively participate and gain practical knowledge of the course.
Phoebe, Jennifer, Haslina and Diana attended the CCP+ program over the course of 4 days which covered topics such as the Fundamentals of Conference Management & Bidding Process, Insights of Digital Marketing, Digital Event Strategy and Homegrown Exhibition. They were all credited with 26 CE hours, accredited by Event Industry Council (EIC) which they could use to qualify as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) in the future.
