BCCK Spends Time with Salvation Army Children during Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The evening began with exciting activities with the children, with a Christmas Tree Decoration Competition. The group that had the most stunning tree got to win the 1st prize. The CEO of BCCK, Mr. Eric van Piggelen stated, “We are thrilled to host this year's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, bringing everyone together for a magical evening. Celebrating it together with the children from Salvation Army adds a meaningful touch to the festivities, emphasizing the importance of compassion and giving during the holiday season,” he said.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and Staff of BCCK, I would like to wish everyone here tonight to be succeed in whatever they do, be it at their studies or work and may the coming year to be a fruitful one", he added.
The event then continued with the lighting up the Christmas tree to commemorate the beginning of festive holiday season. Each child also received a special Christmas present from BCCK before proceeding to enjoy a scrumptious Christmas buffet specially prepared by The Raintree Restaurant.
Captain Cathy from Salvation Army mentioned that the children were very happy during the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. “The children were truly happy for BCC, allowing them to enjoy this joyous Christmas celebration, from the buffet spread, singing the carols to the gifts,” she said.
"In the spirit of the season, BCCK is honored to host this Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in collaboration with the Salvation Army. It is our hope that this event will bring warmth, joy, and a sense of community to those who need it most," Mr. Eric van Piggelen further stated.
