Chinese New Year Buffet
Marking the most cherished evening of the Chinese New Year celebration, our Grand Reunion Buffet offers an extravagant spread of culinary delights that honour the traditions of the season while adding a touch of modern creativity. Happening on Chinese New Year’s Eve, 28th January 2025, from 6pm to 10pm, this buffet promises to set the perfect tone for welcoming the Year of the Dragon.
This year’s buffet spread features dishes from the Stall section such as Whole Roasted Lamb, Roasted Duck & Chicken, Deep Fried Giant Garoupa served with two types of flavours, Deep Fried Sesame Ball, Braised Lamb Shoulder with Laksa Flavour, Steamed Glutinous Rice with Mushroom & Smoked Duck, Wok Fried Prawn with Vietnamese Style, Braised Beef Brisket with Sour Pickle, Radish and Carrot and Fried Chicken with Creamy Butter Salted Egg Sauce from the Buffet Line. The Chinese New Year Grand Reunion Buffet is priced at RM128+ per adult (walk-in price: RM138+) and RM68+ per child ages 5-12 years (walk-in price: RM78+).
Chinese New Year Set Down
For those seeking a more intimate dining experience, our Chinese Set Sit Down offers a refined selection of dishes that symbolize luck and abundance. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared to honor time-honored traditions, featuring 8 courses of menu, ranging from our appealing appetizers to decadent desserts. Available from 15 January to 12 February 2024 (excluding 28th and 29th January 2025), our exclusive Set Menu is priced at RM1,388nett per table of 10pax, offering exceptional value for an unforgettable dining experience.
This year’s Set Sit Down offers menu such as Double Boiled Free-Range Chicken with Traditional Chinese Herbal Soup, Cantonese Style Roasted Duck with Sweet Sauce, Wok Fried Jasmine Fragrant Rice with Salted Egg & Seafood, Wok Fried Shelless Prawn with Bird’s Eye Chilli, Curry Leaves and Butter, Deep Fried Seabass Fillet with Creamy Butter Pumpkin Sauce, Lo Han Chai and Traditional Foochow Yam Puree with Durian Flavoured Sesame Ball.

This Chinese New Year, bring the flavors of celebration to the comfort of your home with Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK)’s specially curated takeaway offerings, featuring signature dishes like our succulent Chinese Roasted Duck and vibrant Prosperity Yee Sang.
BCCK’s Chinese Roasted Duck is served together with Hoisin Sauce, Blended Chilli Sauce and Cucumber is priced at RM138nett and Prosperity Yee Sang comes in two sizes, where size M (serves 5-6pax) is RM98nett and size L (serves up to 10pax) is RM168nett.
Booking period for the Chinese Set Sit Down and Chinese New Year Takeaways from 15th January to 12th February 2025. Takeaways are available for pick-up at The Raintree Restaurant from 11am to 5pm, all takeaway orders must be placed at least two days in advance.
